My life is so dumbly busy (but with fun things mind you!) that I sent Jeff a schedule-update-email today. What am I gonna be like when I am actually running a household consisting of more than two people?? Aaah do not want to think about that.

-Friday J arrives. Party.
-Sat ice skating hopefully. And Malt Shop w/ Kempke, if you want.
-Sun shopping. Nothing for you.
-Monday 2/25 morning I take J to the airport. Monday evening I have an appointment with the florist at 7 pm. You are welcome to come if you want. If you don’t I will probably leave from work and workout on my way.
-Tuesday 2/26 evening you’re going to the Timberwolves game.
-Wednesday evening 2/27 I hang out with Diana.
-Thursday evening 2/28 I have a gymnastics dinner.
-Friday 2/29 my parents arrive.
-Sat 3/1 Drumline show. You have to pick up your dad.
-Sun 3/2 my parents leave.

In other news…our tree came down today. I am sad, angry, and bitter. And $1,551.50 poorer, although compared to $5k that feels like a steal, LOL. The tree people did a great job, but…

I NEED FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS! I am in such a post-y mood this month. POSTY! I think it’s because February has been 632674235x better than January, so far, thank God. All of my ‘fans’ should be so happy…right. In any case. It’s been a manick-y year thus far (thankfully not panicky, yet, anyway; maybe I got that out in 07 [yeah, right]). Manic as in, January = depressive; February = manic, I’m on some weird high. I’m kind of afraid of the crash, but luckily it’s a short month so I should survive.

I met this lady last night who is like the most amazing vendor lady. It was thrilling. Tonight Jeff’s out with the boys and I am working on various, ah, projects…however I SHOULD be in bed. Maybe in a minute. We had our first Trivia Tuesday today at work. We came in third, which isn’t too bad, so, yeah. It was definitely a good time, especially hearing Pete ‘rap’. Ha. Saturday is our employees-and-lovers-only holiday party (holiday being, two months after the holidays and all that, you know) so that should be interesting.

Note, everyone hates the word lovers! Why???

In other news, I am so so weirdly excited about the election (so exciting!) and the OLYMPIC year. Shawn Johnson! Barack Obama! Too much excitement!

Hahahahhahahahhahaha! I really should go to bed but I feel the need to do a quick weekend recaplet. So.

Friday I did a bunch of stupid errands and had a weird chat with the hair cut lady. Jeff and Erik were at the Wolves game so I got to have alone time in the house which I weirdly love. Ha. Then we watched our VCR TAPED episode of Friday Night Lights. (I stayed up until 12:30; it was amazing.) Last episode for now, but now the strike is over. Seriously, FNL is THE BEST SHOW. EVER. Watch it!!! (MSCL is a close second, BTW, which we finished on Thursday. SAD!)

Saturday I was totally weird and I made this whole like wedding-organizing-shit book. It was amazing. Somehow I now feel better about the whole thing. Who knew there was so much to do. Geez. Luckily I have plenty of help, so, I shouldn’t worry. Right?? 😉 I should have gotten a lot more done before I headed out but WCYD.

Saturday night I met up with Alyssa, Misty and Rob at India Palace which I LOVELOVELOVE. It was everything I dreamed of. Rob was like impressed that I worked at Ham, so needless to say I was flattered. I’m telling you people, HITF = BFD. For realz. Anyway. We then headed to Peter’s show where we met up with Kristin, Amber and Brad (and duh, Susan and Peter). My coworker the Reverend Eric P. Price was there too, which was cool, even if I accidentally insulted him AGAIN, as well as someone sleazy. I extracted myself from that situation however.

Then I did something totally weird (for me) and went OUT with Misty and Kristin at like 11 pm. WTF? Even weirder, I STAYED out until 2. Oh my life! It was really really fun though and I was glad they invited me. Good times, even in the freeze and with the Platteville-like bar and creepy-cool basement. Oh, and the old guy (see above). I even put on black eyeliner oooOOOooooHHHhhhh. Very dramatic, LOL. No seriously, it proves to me that it’s probably a good thing once in awhile to not do what I usually do. Ha.

Then I got home and watched Jeff play Zelda/read my magazine. Finally at 3 he was like “IT’S 3 AM! Geez!” and we went to bed.

This morning woke up to the horrible wind and stayed, stayed, stayed in bed. Didn’t do everything I was supposed to but I did get in a good chat with JJ and my ma and pa. So, super. Managed to stay in the house all day too which is awesome.

Now it is bedtime, because I have one heck of a day and then week. February so far is weird and awesome. In all good ways!
