Oh hiiiiiii! It’s 2013. It’s January. And HOLY SMOKES did this year get started with a bang. Well, really just at work. Work has been so totally totally nuts. It’s good…just a rude awakening after such a nice break! Haha! That led to some serious insomnia last week but I seem to have kicked it…for now. Hmmmm.
ANYway. What is Up. I don’t really have a whole lot to say but I did want to check in here. Despite the work craziNESS, 2013 is off to a good start. Just as I anticipated! I am grateful for that. Here are some random fun things:
-Jeff had yesterday and today off. He played videogames and worked out all day yesterday and it sounded like just the perfect day for him! He has been working really hard at work so it makes me very very happy that he could have these days to do that stuff. He deserves it! Now if only I were home with him … 🙂
-Tomorrow I am going to yoga with Kristin! Yeah!
-Also tomorrow is Yogurt Lab/UMN meet with Diana! Quickly becoming tradition, lovvvvve it
-I met a longtime ‘Internet friend’ on Monday and it was terrific. We REALLY hit it off and it was so fun! We also ran into some girl from Jenny’s/my classes in elementary school randomly (Jessica R.) so that was funny. Anyway.
-While I miss the Christmas tree etc, a very nice thing about this time of year is license to stay in, read/watch shows, eat treats and cuddle up! GET READY JEFF! Yay! We had a Movie Night last Friday and that was SUPER divine. What a great way to start the weekend!
-We had a really cool sports day the second-to-last-day of 2012. Went out to watch Vikes game with Dave/Lisa and it was such a good game! Everyone at the bar got really excited (duh), after which we went directly to the Gopher hockey game where the energy was SUPER high and the Gophs proceeded to CRUSH IT all over Boston College, 8-1. Holy kamoley. I might actually start watching games now too…LOL.
Anyway I’m sure there is more but I did want to get SOME kind of update out there…so sorrrry (not really, not at all) if it is lame. It was much better in my head! Happy weekend (almost), all!
