I’m here watching Jeff play Christmas borderlands with the funny performer and the dramatic music and I said “it’s our tradition” and realized I didn’t do my other tradition, the Christmas Eve update. Dang it! Well I am now but it won’t be good. A, I’m writing this on my phone and sleepy, B, the AI. I was fine with the random traffic and the exboyf types and the Chinese or Russian or both bots or spies (or both!) but this AI it’s just dumb. We don’t need some meta future lxforever forever.
BUT it’s probably too late so whatever.
We’re coming off a wonderful fun evening of gathering, feeling privileged to be able to host and to be able to show our kids that bringing people together in this weird new age is an honor and responsibility. They are fans of people, of society, too. Phew.
And. I’ve got some carrots to eat and a book to finish before Santa shows. Merry Christmas to everyone except all the a-holes out there!
