August knocking early?
When LeRoy died, it wasn’t just about losing this great person who was so loved and adored, so smart and funny and wisecracking and wise; but somehow it was also about his whole life and his legacy left behind. All his contributions, all the years, all those kids…so much good.
What happens when the kids (who are very much no longer kids, mind you) die?
I figured we’re still years away from worrying about that, but who knows. Somehow contributing my own kid to the 4th generation makes me wary.
Life is fleeting and nature is a tricky beast. Keep an eye out.
