I am in an extraordinarily wonderful mood today and I feel the need to document this as (a) I was in an extraordinarily pissy mood yesterday and the day before (esp the day before, which led to some pretty great Emotional Eating which was awesome, ha) and (b) my extraordinarily wonderful moods waned for quite awhile this winter and are now returning in small bursts here and there.

REASONS WHY I AM SO HAPPY TODAY:

-no one was hurt in the gas explosion in my ‘hood yesterday! THAT is truly amazing, folks
-It’s FRIDAY! My favorite day for many good reasons. Happy Friday!
-I might actually be understanding this iPhone app dev shit…I hope
-I had blueberry pancakes for breakfast! Pancake Friday!
-along with awesome Fage yogurt!
-(since we’re talking about food) I also made my first-ever fritatta yesterday and it was superb IMVHO…yesssss. And in cast iron no less. (That makes two new recipes tried + successfully delivered this week!…I am thinking/hoping on trying yet another new recipe next week too so I am excited about that too)
-Big 10s tomorrow! Go UMN! Yay for big gymnastics events in my city!
-I might go on an errands-walk for lunch in Skywayland, always fun!
-drinking hot tea right now, yummmmm (actually it’s kind of gross, some weird decaf chai WTF?)
-Ibuprofen rocks, never underestimate the power of DRUGS (in the modern urban crime environment)
-(speaking of crime) I found this really cool new crime map! http://spotcrime.com/ I just think it’s cool
-Lots of website making and sewing to do this weekend but I feel a surge of productivity (I hope!) coming on
-I really do like the sewing part so yay for sewing
-RIDING MY BIKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! tomorrow! I think! I hope! In the warmish (sunnyish?) daylight!
-Longer days! More light!
-Lots of ‘good’ (aka, good to ME ha) pop music lately…lovin’ it, thank you JLo Kanye + Black Eyed Peas!
-I’m going to San Francisco in 3 weeks!

OK! THAT my friends is enough crazy peppiness. No worries, my morose nature is sure to return, I wildly fluctuate (as you can see) between joy and misery.

I fail to comment on Current Events on lxforever any longer but I will say that it has been a pretty shitty awful year so far for a lot of folks around the globe. Japan, Middle East, Sconnies even (remember, I am intensely focused in INCOME INEQUALITY these days!!!), you are all in my thoughts.
