Welcome and thank you for visiting! The lxforever domain of the internet began in August of 1998 and has evolved and changed in many ways since then, as has its owner, creator, and maintenence woman. Vanessa Atler had a website, so, I figured, I had better as well! (Note: I thought this even though I am not a famous elite gymnast, haha.) It started out as one long-running page of text because I was a moron. There were about four people who visited that first page: me, my cousin Michael, and like two of my friends. I am slightly less moronic now and instead more lame so at this point the site is a little (okay, a LOT) different. This is pretty much still v10.0, although now emboldened with the very sane and lovely help of WordPress. HURRAH.

The site originated with the help of Tripod’s SiteBuilder thang, and then moved to FrontPage Express, and now is all handcoded with the love and help of Dreamweaver and WordPress (see, I’ve grown up a bit). Through these times it was many things . . . graphicky, frames-endowed, a mess, and all else. I once had the impulse to completely revamp the site, or at least the colors and backgrounds for each season (I still do it for Christmas though), so if you look at old pages on the site you may be able to peel back the layers and see my periodic and ungracious overhauls. Finally I wisened up, and now I’m a graphic designer or whatever, so it can no longer look like complete ass.

The old versions? You can view v1.0, my very ancient text page, here, and be sure to expect a piece of crap. You can see v7.0, the frames one, here and v8.0, the blue bayou, here, and v9.0… somewhere, I’ll have to find that; but be warned that none might be quite right. And speaking of disclaimers . . .

I think I’m at the point in my life now that I can take disclaimers off, or at least the old ones, but here’s a few new ones:

• I might talk about you. If you don’t like it, you should probably tell me, and I’ll do something about it. Thanks.
• I might talk about you unfavorably if I don’t know that you visit here any longer. Again, let me know, and I apologize but this is where I vent. (Then again, if I am speaking of you in a less than favorable light, you probably do not desire to communicate with me.)
• I also write elsewhere, and you probably don’t and won’t know where. So I don’t update as well as I should anymore, here. Sorry. HOWEVER now that I have WordPress I expect to be better about it. So be it!
